23-year-old Scottish lifestyle blogger here on WordPress! I’m particularly passionate about Mental Health which is something I try to include in my writing.

This blog, for now, is my therapy. It’s very therapeutic to write out your thoughts, feelings and experiences. Having a blog just adds a layer of intimidation at having your words out there forever – especially when times, and politics, change.

My leisure involves reading, binging Netflix, trying out new food places and cafes, seeking out waterfalls to look at or dive in and lochs to walk around. Of course, I can’t miss exploring castles off the list when I live in Scotland! I’m pretty well rounded and have lots of interests so it’s hard keeping up with them all consistently.

I am employed as an Administrative worker within the NHS so my writing fits around that. I have enjoyed writing from a young age and it has grown with me over the years. I blogged on various sites from the age of 13 but decided to give it a real go with this site as a mature (ahem) and sophisticated (HA!) “adult”. In the past, I was all about creative writing but nowadays I tend to write about my experiences, opinions and future plans. I do occasionally dabble in a poem or two (or many many incomplete ones).

I enjoy the simple things in life a great deal. Set me up with a notepad or good book, a candle and a snack and I’m good to go! A coffee can be all it takes to turn my frown upside down.

On the blog you’ll get an insight into my finances as a young, single woman saving for a mortgage. I plan to do this with weekly Money Diaries and a monthly Finance Friday with an overview and any resources or tips I’ve found.

I’ll be keeping everyone updated with my acne and anxiety journey’s. I’ll also be talking about other aspects of my mental health.

I’d also like to document any trips I take and places I visit.

I’ve not been letting myself read much recently for some bizarre reason but when I do take the time to settle down with a book I’ll try my best to review it. Otherwise, you can have an insight into what I’ve been reading, watching and listening to in my Monthly Mumble posts.

I have done Guest Posts in the past which is something I’m still open to If this isn’t your thing but you’d still like to collaborate please reach out to me on social media or pop me an e-mail.

Many thanks for reading this in an attempt (I hope) to get to know the author behind the content.

Bloglovin is my savior because it updates with my new posts automatically (that probably says a lot about me).

Hi Amy! I love your content on this blog, especially your efforts to raise awareness of mental health. Have you thought about making a Bloglovin’ account? I’d love to follow your blog over there.

Hi Lucy 🙂 Thank you so much! I have had one many years ago that I didn’t update much. It’s something I’m considering looking into again for those who prefer to use Bloglovin’ but at the moment I don’t think I can keep up with two sites at once 😦 I have a bookmarked folder of blogs that are on other sites and I check in with them every once and a while. Hope to see you comment again on future posts! 🙂

I think you’re getting mixed up with Blogger there, my lovely. Bloglovin’ is just a site that makes it easier for other bloggers to follow your blog. You wouldn’t be keeping up with two sites, it automatically updates your page whenever you publish a new post on here. Just send me a tweet with your URL if you do decide to create one 🙂

Thanks for stopping my blog – glad you like it. I can relate to all five of the activities you include here (though I gave up acting years ago when I moved to France – too much of an accent!)
    Keep up the nice blog.
